ipf has developed an accredited educational quality management system- ipf-QM, currently in use in schools, teacher training centres, special educational centres and curative homes and other social institutions. It has been developed in the educational field but can be used in any organisation that sees itself as a learning community and is interested in developing and certifying its quality.
At the heart of the ipf-QM approach is action research, personal development and evaluation. The ipf-QM system requires an individual or organisation to define their own quality criteria and then research and evaluate their own practice. The basic principles are transparency of aims and methods, plausibility of data collection and strictly ethical code of practice.
ipf-Q is essentially about developing quality for its own sake. Quality is that which is most important to us in our professional field. It can be used to provide accountability but using this system can also lead to certification if this is needed.
